Effective Educational Practices, based in Boulder, CO, runs seminars and continuing education for teachers of all levels. Having used their previous flash-based site for a few years, EEP felt some growing pains. The flash site was hard to update, and didn’t allow users the ability to do things like register for courses online or purchase books. Additionally the old site didn’t have an effective way for EEP to easily communicate with their users.
By using WordPress, adding online registrations, and deploying a blog that integrated throughout the site, we were able to meet all of their needs and give them a site that is very easy to update.
